Susan G. Komen Michigan
Through targeted, culturally-sensitive education, screening, diagnostic testing, transportation, and survivor support programs, Komen Michigan touched more than 85,000 lives in 2015 alone. But more needs to be done! 30% of breast cancer diagnosis in Michigan are still considered “late stage” when they are harder to treat and more deadly. Komen Michigan saves lives by filling the gaps for much-needed services across the state, eliminating barriers to care, and funding programs that matter.
Komen Michigan is committed to saving lives and reducing breast cancer deaths by 50% in Michigan over the next decade.
