Founded in 2001, Community Spay Neuter Initiative Partnership, known as C-SNIP, has a mission to reduce pet overpopulation, unwanted litters, and healthy animal euthanasia by offering high-quality, reduced cost spay/neuter surgery for cats and dogs in the West Michigan area. C-SNIP performs approximately 10,000 spay/neuter surgeries each year and has improved the quality of life for over 140,000 dogs and cats since opening our doors 15 years ago. Our services have prevented hundreds of thousands of puppies and kittens from being born only to then be abandoned, abused, or euthanized because there aren't enough homes for them. C-SNIP targets its services to individuals unable to afford or access private veterinary services. We are able to provide our high-quality services at reduced prices because of financial support from private foundations, corporate supporters, and individual donors. C-SNIP also offers a monthly Vaccination station service to low-income pet owners to improve the wellness of their dogs and cats.
